We seem to have difficulty finding a place to eat out that actually has more than one plant based choice you can eat, not counting salad bars. As we researching menus and make list of possibilities many of our past favorite restaurants have been eliminated or greatly restricted. But today we have found a delightful surprise at Chef Lin's to Go.
On their menu we found a "special diet" section. #1 was Steamed Vegetable Delight. The dishes are prepared steamed with out using any oil. Of course the steamed white rice is not exactly "whole" but the plate full of a variety of steamed vegetables was delightful. Then we could choose a sauce, white, brown, hunan, or garlic which was served on the side. We ordered one with white and one with garlic, and yes i checked both sauces were plant based and yummy. So we considered it a win. Definitely an option we will be choosing again.
What restaurants have you found that are "plant based" friendly or at least have manageable eating ideas?

Mexican like at places like Freebirds, Chipotle, or Qdoba. All very similar in menu, but you can get the veggies, beans and grains all in one. Very tasty and similar to what we used to eat. Yes, there may still be a bit of what we don't want in there because I am not 100% sure of what they cook everything in but tasty just the same.
